Privacy notice

Your information should do one clear job.

This notice explains what Ena Pragma collects through enapragma.co, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It was last updated July 31, 2026.

Information we collect

When you join Field Notes, we collect your email address, the place on our site where you subscribed, your confirmation and unsubscribe activity, and delivery events such as bounces or spam complaints. When you contact us, we collect the information you choose to send. We also use limited website analytics to understand aggregate site usage.

Why we use it

We use newsletter information to send the weekly Field Notes digest, record your consent, operate the mailing list, prevent abuse, and honor unsubscribe and suppression requests. We use contact-form information to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell subscriber information.

Service providers

Vercel hosts this website and its server routes. Railway hosts the Listmonk newsletter service and Postgres database. Twilio SendGrid delivers email and reports delivery, bounce, and complaint events. These providers process information for us under their respective service and privacy terms.

Choice and retention

Field Notes uses double opt-in. You are not subscribed until you use the confirmation link. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. We keep active subscription data while you remain subscribed. We delete unconfirmed signup records after 30 days and retain abuse-prevention events for up to 90 days. After an unsubscribe, bounce, or complaint, we retain the email address, status, consent evidence, and suppression history for six years after the last status change so we can avoid unwanted mail and document compliance. Contact-form records are normally deleted after 24 months.

Your requests

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your newsletter information. Email carl@enapragma.co or use the contact form on this site. We may need to verify that the address belongs to you before completing a request. We normally complete a verified request within 30 days. A deletion request removes optional profile and activity data; we may retain the minimum suppression and compliance record described above when deletion would otherwise cause unwanted email or defeat a legal obligation.

Security and changes

We use access controls, encrypted connections, rate limits, and service-provider safeguards appropriate to this small mailing-list system. No internet service can promise perfect security. Material changes to this notice will be posted on this page with a new update date.
